TIMELINE The total time to create the brand strategy, brand positioning, brand and creative ID, website, and four different activations was 8 months. 

PROJECT INFORMATION

EGYM was referred to BRINK by 24 Hour Fitness. EGYM needed an agency partner to collaborate with and create a new brand strategy, product positioning, creative identity, and then lead the brand through a omni-channel activation including a new global website and technology replatform from Wordpress to Acquia, mobile and tablet experiences, with entirely new content, retail and event experiences under scope. And all completed within 6 months.
BRINK continues EGYM's current brand and digital agency of record continuing to provide support across customer touch points and digital channels including website, technology, data, campaigns, SEO and social media.

CHALLENGES

  • EGYM had chosen and partnered with another agency for six months prior to us getting involved. That agency dropped the ball, so we had to make up for lost time.
  • We needed to quickly create a brand strategy, positioning then brand and creative ID within 2 months.
  • Needed to position EGYM as a premium yet approachable brand in the fitness and wellness market, a brand that worked across diverse audiences.
  • Worked with a new marketing team to define then design and develop brand and marketing activations in multiple regions.
  • Chose an enterprise web content management platform that met global technology requirements.
  • Launched the brand in a very difficult environment (global pandemic).
  • Quickly activate the brand into market across channels including mobile, web, email, events and retail.
  • Focus on implementing new analytics platform and code to enable real time optimization.

RESULTS

EGYM launched a new brand to the American and European markets in a very difficult time, during the  pandemic, and is now launching a new global website and platform on Acquia. 
The ultimate result of our work on EGYM will be seen in June 2020 as the brand work and website go live for consumers and B2B customers.
