PROJECT INFORMATION

Nokia, a global leader and $30 billion company, faced challenges in managing customer experiences, content and assets across many regions. The company needed a central content-management platform and a plan to operationalize content governance and policy across the organization. 
Nokia worked with BRINK and its strategy agency of record to conduct interviews, analyze content requirements, evaluate multiple platforms, develop new governance and policies, and then select a new technology stack that mapped business requirements to features and platform.

CHALLENGES

  • Nokia had 5 core divisions all with their own content and marketing stakeholders, and all had their own set of requirements, technology preferences, processes and governance practices
  • Nokia owned 5 different content management platforms
  • More than 20 stakeholders had opposing views

 

  • Differing views that needed to be vetted and organized into a single, concise POV and plan
  • Data, content and assets were spread out across different platforms
  • Upon completion of stakeholder interviews, process analysis and data strategy, we had to distill everything to create a plan of action

 

RESULTS

Nokia now has an enterprise technology vision and roadmap that supports global groups across all 5 core divisions and business units. 
The project led to double-digit efficiency gains and performance (revenue) increases as the company scaled its digital transformation.
